Taking young kids to a dentist can be challenging - especially if the dentist finds a cavity or two that needs to be repaired. Young kids don't often do well when it comes to getting the shot that numbs the tooth before getting a filling. I knew that my son wouldn't do well at all, so I started looking into the options that dentists have to treat young kids that won't do well in such a situation.
